Creating a Chart To create an embedded chart

  1. Select the cells to provide data for the chart.

  2. On the Standard toolbar, click the Chart Wizard button.

  3. In the Chart type section, click the desired chart type; and then, in the Chart subtype section, click the desired subtype.

  4. Click Next to move to the next wizard page.

  5. Verify that the axis and data series names are correct.

  6. Click Next to move to the next wizard page.

  7. In the Chart title box, type the name of the chart and then press .

  8. Type names for the chart title and axes in the boxes provided, and then click Next.
