Displaying and Managing Database Objects
Access databases typically contain lots of objects: tables, where you store your data; forms, which enable you to enter data into tables quickly; queries, which enable you to extract subsets of data from your tables; and reports, which summarize your table data and query results. Access organizes your objects in the Navigation pane, found at the left edge of the program window. You can choose the order in which Access displays the objects and even choose whether to display a subset of your objects, but you always know where your objects are if you want them.
