Opening a Database

When you start Access, the Getting Started with Microsoft Office Access screen appears in the Access window. A list of recently opened files appears at the right of the window, in the Open Recent Database section. You can select the file you want to open from the list that appears. If the file you want isn’t on that list, click More to display the Open dialog box. From the Open dialog box, you can navigate to the folder with the database you want to open.
