Working with Form Wizards

Now that you understand the basic mechanics of form design, you could continue to build all your forms from scratch in Design view. However, even the most experienced developers take advantage of the many wizards built into Microsoft Access to get a jump-start on design tasks. This section shows you how to use a form wizard to quickly build a custom form.

Creating the Basic Products Form with a Form Wizard

Begin by opening the ContactsDataCopy.mdb database, and then click the Tables button on the Object bar and select the tblProducts table. Next select Form from the New Object toolbar button’s drop-down list or choose Form from the Insert menu. Access opens the New Form dialog box, as shown in Figure 11-21.
