Practice Files

Before you can use the practice files, you must install them on your computer. When properly installed, the files are stored on your hard-disk in chapter-specific subfolders of the ~/Documents/Microsoft Press/2008OfficeMacSBS/ folder. If you install the practice files to a location other than the default, you will need to substitute that path within the exercises.

Using the Practice Files

Each exercise is preceded by a SET UP paragraph listing the files needed for that exercise and explaining any preparations you should make before you start, and followed by a CLEAN UP paragraph explaining anything you need to do to restore your system before you continue.
