Insert Symbols as Text or Graphics

The Symbols page of the Object Palette contains text and image symbols in the following categories:

• Currency

• Fractions

• Math

• Trade

• Special

• Keyboard

• Shapes

• Arrows

• Check Marks

• Music

• Greek

• Accents

You can insert common symbols—as independent graphics or as text—in a document, in a worksheet cell, or on a slide.

When inserting a symbol into an Excel worksheet, you must first select a container to enter it in.
