  • You can change slide text from the standard bulleted list to a numbered list, to a sublist, or to regular text that you can format in all the usual ways.

  • You can choose from several types of slide backgrounds: solid colors and preset gradients linked to the presentation’s color scheme; custom solid colors chosen from a variety of color palettes; custom gradients involving as many as 10 colors; clip art, photos, or other images; and a variety of textures. You can adjust the impact of each type of background by controlling its transparency.

  • After you create a slide, you can easily modify its layout. You can do this by applying a different layout, by modifying existing placeholders, or by adding content directly to the slide.
