Add Slides to a Presentation

When you create a new presentation that isn’t based on a project template, PowerPoint supplies only a title slide and leaves it to you to add the other slides you want.

Add Blank Slides

You can add a slide with the default layout, immediately after the current slide, by clicking New Slide on the Insert menu. You can add a slide with a different layout by selecting the layout you want from the Slide Layouts tab of the Elements Gallery.
