Platform targeting
A .NET 4.5 application will not run on an unsupported platform such as Windows XP.
We must have in mind which operating systems support .NET 4.5. At the time of writing this book, they were:
- Windows 8
- Windows 7
- Windows Vista SP2
- Windows Server 2012
- Windows Server 2008 R2
- Windows Server 2008 SP2
