The .NET Compact Framework provides a subset of the controls available in the full .NET Framework. Furthermore, for the controls that the .NET Compact Framework does implement, not all of the methods, properties, and events supplied in the .NET Framework are available. The description of each control later in this chapter explains the most significant differences from the full .NET Framework.
