Chapter 8. Grammar

Grammatical rules leave little room for opinion. For example, a verb must agree with its subject in person and number. However, there are grammatical concepts that are a matter of style, such as passive voice, mood, and which verb tense your documentation favors. This section focuses mainly on grammatical issues that are a matter of style and not a matter of right or wrong.
