Voice Mail Reroute

Similar to the capability to use PSTN reroute between sites, integration with Exchange Unified Messaging can be achieved through voice mail rerouting configuration. If Exchange Unified Messaging servers do not exist locally, and the WAN is unavailable, Lync servers can place a PSTN call to a specified number when a user tries to access his voice mail. Similarly, if a user diverts an internal or PSTN call to voice mail during a WAN outage, Lync initiates a call to a different PSTN number and transfers the original caller.
