Network Recommendations
Each virtual machine running a Lync Server 2013 role should have at least one virtual network adapter added. Edge Servers require at least two virtual adapters (as with a physical installation). It is recommended that physical adapters be dedicated to the virtual machines, to avoid the impact of sharing network interface cards.
