VDI Vendors
As the interest in VDI has increased, so has the number of vendors providing VDI solutions. Although many firms offer VDI products, two vendors stand out in the crowd as providing enterprise-ready end-to-end VDI solutions: Citrix, with the XenDesktop product, and VMware, which offers View. Microsoft has also invested heavily in VDI technology and includes a VDI offering with the Windows operating system as part of the Remote Desktop Services portfolio.
