Operating System Requirements for Lync 2013 Web App Client
The following operating systems are supported for the Lync 2013 Web App client:
• Windows 8 (Intel-based)
• Windows 7 with SP1
• Windows Vista with SP2
• Windows XP with SP3
• Windows Server 2008 R2 with SP1
• Windows Server 2008 R1 with SP2
• Mac OS-X (Intel-based)
Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows 2008 R2, and Mac OS-X systems that meet the preceding requirements are able to perform full collaboration sessions including audio and video through the web browser. Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2008 R1 systems that meet the requirements do not have audio and video available; these clients can still perform application viewing and sharing through Lync Web App.
