One Note

Lync 2013 has a new level of integration with OneNote for taking notes during Lync Meetings. Just as in previous versions of the product, users can initiate a new note from an existing conversation. Click the Presentation icon, select OneNote, and select My Notes. This prompts the user to select a notebook for the note, and then automatically populates the subject, date, time, and participants.

New to Lync 2013 is the capability to select Shared Notes, which again prompts the user for a notebook to store the notes in. The difference with Shared Notes is that all meeting participants can simultaneously edit the notes, which helps ensure that no information is missed.
