By following a few best practices, you can optimize the Microsoft Lync:Mac experience for your users. Employing little tricks to ensure that things work the first time and configure automatically simplifies the deployment of the Microsoft Lync:Mac client:
• Whenever possible, use a certificate from a public CA to ensure that clients will automatically trust the CA and that the CRL will be readily available.
• A quality Lync certified headset will do wonders for audio quality.
• If you plan to do video conferencing, spend a couple of bucks and get a nice webcam. Pan-and-tilt support is a great feature for keeping people well centered in the view.
