Creating Dial-In Access Numbers
Dial-in access numbers are the phone numbers users dial to reach the audio conferencing service. For each access number, a SIP-enabled contact object is created within Active Directory.
Each dial-in access number has a dial-in conferencing region associated that ties it to a particular dial plan. The following options are available when you are creating a dial-in access number:
• Display Number—The text format of the number as it is displayed to users in the Online Meeting invitation.
• Display Name—The name of the Active Directory contact created for the access number.
• Line URI—The phone number assigned to the dial-in access contact. This should be specified in E.164 format with the “tel:” prefix.
