Creating Dial-In Access Numbers

Dial-in access numbers are the phone numbers users dial to reach the audio conferencing service. For each access number, a SIP-enabled contact object is created within Active Directory.

Each dial-in access number has a dial-in conferencing region associated that ties it to a particular dial plan. The following options are available when you are creating a dial-in access number:

Display Number—The text format of the number as it is displayed to users in the Online Meeting invitation.

Display Name—The name of the Active Directory contact created for the access number.

Line URI—The phone number assigned to the dial-in access contact. This should be specified in E.164 format with the “tel:” prefix.
