Shared Components Disaster Recovery
Lync Server 2013 relies on several shared services to provide various functionality. It is important when planning for disaster recovery scenarios that all shared components are accounted for. This includes Active Directory, Exchange Server, Office Web Apps Server, and Network Equipment. It is critical to ensure a seamless transition to the second datacenter in a disaster scenario. When developing a disaster recovery strategy, make certain to document all dependencies and ensure that those dependencies will be available in the secondary environment.
