Lync Mediation Server Disaster Recovery

Providing disaster recovery to Lync Mediation Servers is not done through a Mediation Server configuration. Instead, voice routes should be configured to contain multiple Mediation Server pools for failover purposes. When you are planning for voice resiliency, it is important to identify all inbound and outbound routing policies, and to make sure that cross-pool policies are configured where necessary. Pool 1 users should be able to route calls through the Pool 2 Mediation Servers to the PSTN as a last resort.
