Install Local Configuration Store
To install any server role in Lync Server 2013, the target server must first have a local configuration store installed and populated with the topology information. The Lync Deployment Wizard will automatically open after the installation files have been cached on the system.
1. Click Install or Update Lync Server System.
2. Under Step 1: Install Local Configuration Store, click Run.
3. Select Retrieve Configuration Automatically from the Central Management Store, and click Next.
4. Click Finish after the local store is successfully created.
