Manager/Admin Improvements
Lync has added support for delegate features. This means that a delegate no longer has to switch between Lync and an Attendant console to access the features they need. Lync also now supports the capability for one delegate to support multiple managers. Because they no longer have to use an Attendant console to manage other accounts, they now have access to the collaboration tools such as application sharing and file sharing that are not supported by the Attendant console.
Lync includes a new contact group called “People I manage calls for,” which makes it simpler to pass information along when they become available again.
