Task 1: Determine Edition

Microsoft provides Windows Server 2008 in 32-bit and 64-bit editions; each edition offers benefits for application hosting and infrastructure growth and development. Record whether the organization will use a 32-bit or 64-bit edition of the operating system in the infrastructure. If the organization requires both editions, identify which applications will use the 32-bit edition and which will use the 64-bit edition.

Use Appendix A: "Job Aid 2: Application Inventory" to record the application compatibility requirements information.
