Task 1: Create an Application Inventory
Before designing the infrastructure for a site, create a list of applications that the site will host on the IIS 7.0 infrastructure. This guide recommends using this application inventory to plan capacity, fault tolerance, and Windows Server 2008 and IIS 7.0 installation.
For each existing or planned application in the site, collect the following information for use in later steps of the planning and design process:
