Reporting on ActiveSync devices

The Exchange Management Shell provides several cmdlets that can be used for generating reports. We can obtain information about users and their devices and we can also generate reports based on end user activity and server usage. In this recipe, we'll take a look at how we can use these cmdlets to generate multiple ActiveSync reports from the Exchange Management Shell.

How to do it...

  1. To generate a report for an individual user's device synchronization status, use the following command:
    Get-ActiveSyncDeviceStatistics -Mailbox dsmith
