Summary

Group policies can be leveraged to help Exchange administrators manage client connections and configurations to Exchange. Rather than accessing every user profile, configuration, or Outlook property, group policies can be enabled that centralize the administration and management of the client software. With new tools in Windows Server 2003 that provide better management of group policies, administrators can simplify their tasks while expanding on the capabilities of the client access to Exchange. From simple Outlook client preference changes to performing client software installation and patch management, group policies can be of significant help to administrators of organizations of any size.
