OMA and Exchange ActiveSync are technologies that enable users to access their mailboxes and synchronize the contents onto mobile devices for offline access. OMA can be accessed via a Pocket PC 2002 and Windows Mobile 2003 device or via a Wireless Access Protocol (WAP) 2.0 cell phone or other wireless device, over dial-up connections and low-bandwidth mobile networks, such as GPRS and single carrier radio transmission technology (1xRTT CDMA).
