Using Excel with Other Applications

Excel works well with a number of other applications. These programs can expand Excel's capabilities:

• OLE objects created with other Microsoft Office applications can be inserted into Excel documents.

• Excel documents can be inserted into documents created with other Microsoft Office applications.

• Excel documents can be e-mailed to others using Entourage.

• FileMaker Pro databases can be used as sources for Excel workbook files.

This chapter explains how you can use Excel with some of these other applications.
