Gridlines
Gridlines are lines indicating major and minor scale points along a chart's walls. They can make it easier to follow chart points to corresponding values on a chart axis. Pie and doughnut charts do not have gridlines.
Tip
Although gridlines can make a chart's data easier to read, too many gridlines can clutter a chart's walls, making data impossible to read.
To set gridlines
1. | In the Chart Options dialog, click the Gridlines tab to display its options (Figure 50).
