Excel's information functions return information about other cells.

The IS functions

Excel's IS functions (Figure 73) use the following syntax:

              ISBLANK(value)               ISERR(value)              ISERROR(value)             ISLOGICAL(value)               ISNA(value)             ISNONTEXT(value)             ISNUMBER(value)               ISREF(value)              ISTEXT(value)
