Undoing, Redoing, & Repeating Actions

Excel's Edit menu offers a trio of commands that enable you to undo, redo, or repeat the last thing you did.

  • Undo (Figure 13) reverses your last action. Excel supports multiple levels of undo, enabling you to reverse more than just the very last action.

  • Redo (Figure 27) reverses the Undo command. This command is only available if the last thing you did was use the Undo command.

  • Repeat (Figure 13) performs your last action again. This command is only available when you performed any action other than use the Undo or Redo command.
