Plug-In Samples

The SDK comes with some plug-in samples: the AccountNumberPlugin, which creates a random account number when an account is created, the FollowupPlugin plug-in sample that creates a Task activity when an account is created, the PreEventPlugin that demonstrates the use of shared variables to send data through different plug-ins, and the WebClientPlugin that shows how to access a network resource in a sandboxed plug-in. AdvancedPlugin shows how to use pre- and post-images, tracing, passing secure and unsecure information, and so on. You can find the code for these samples in C# within the SDK under the sdk\samplecode\cs\plug-ins folder.

The SDK can be downloaded from Microsoft by searching for “CRM 2013 SDK” at Microsoft.com.
