Working with Multiple Solutions

When working with solutions, CRM implementations will likely contain more than one custom solution deployed. In addition to multiple solutions containing customization modifications in their CRM system, organizations would typically have multiple vendor (ISV) solutions as well.

When importing solutions, you will want to consider some things related to the predefined system entities. If we import a solution that includes a customized form of any system entity, for example the Contact entity, this could be applied (or “layered”) by removing some fields and tabs on the existing Contact entity.
