Client Installation
To install Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that Outlook has been run at least once on the client computer. Running Outlook once creates an Outlook profile for the user, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook uses that profile for installation.
2. Download to the client install file, and double-click it to start the installation. (The executable is SetupClient.exe.) You can find this by searching Microsoft.com for “Dynamics CRM Outlook Client” or by clicking the yellow notification on the web client, as was shown at the top of the screen in Figure 15.1, which will download the files to your computer.
