Announcements
Announcements previously enabled you to communicate with your CRM users by creating messages that could be displayed to users in the system. With this version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, the Announcement homepage has been removed and is not available to end users without either customizing the interface (by adding back the /home/homepage/home_news_aspx URL in a SubArea to a SiteMap edit) or via programmatic implementation.
Announcements are listed by creation date, with the most recent at the top. When creating Announcements, select New and complete the required information (see Figure 12.34). Announcements have four properties:
