Custom Reports with ASP.NET Deployment
Similar to what you learned earlier in this chapter, you must use the CRM client interface and follow these steps to create custom reports with an ASP.NET deployment. (Notice that you can deploy reports from either the web or Outlook client interfaces.)
1. Go to Reports from the top navigation under either Sales, Service, or Marketing.
2. Click the New button located on the navigation menu.
3. Select Link to Webpage in the Report Type property. Under Webpage URL, enter the URL of the custom application you built and enter a name for the report. Optionally, you can select the Categories, Related Record Types, and Display In options (see Figure 11.109).
