General Options for Both Web and Outlook Clients
The General options include the capability to set the general layout, view, and options (see Figure 7.3).

Default pane (available only in the web client) refers to which area receives the focus and is expanded by default when the system is started. By default, this is set to Sales and Dashboard, but you can set it to any pane and tab.
