Duplicate Detection on Create and Update
Lastly, but arguably most significantly, is the removal of Duplicate Detection during create and update. Although this feature still remains for bulk records, it is no longer available for individual records.
There is still the option to create (via a plug-in or similar) a tool that manages the validation of entered data to test for duplicates, but the support for this out of the box is no longer available.
