Designing a map subreport with SQL Report Builder

The AX SSRS extension, though has improved the capability of AX reports, is still to catch up with the actual SSRS. The features such as maps and a few other graphical additions to reports are yet to make way into it. However, there is a way to bring nice map reports to AX through the SQL Report Builder. This recipe will extend our previous recipe to add a map data that will then be added as a subreport.

Getting ready

This recipe requires that you have installed and have access the Report Server Manager and Report Builder. This recipe is a continuation to the recipe Designing an OLAP table report with SQL Report Builder in this chapter.
