This section will detail the different artifacts that are involved in creating and running a report. Individual components inside the report model are also briefly discussed.

Artifacts

AX SSRS reports are managed through multiple AOT components.

Reports (AOT\SSRS reports)

The SSRS report node in AOT stores the metadata for the report in XML format that includes the RDL and cross reference entries. There is no code written in this part of the report. A report can be part of any number of reporting projects.
