Summary

With this chapter, we started the analysis phase of the project. We learned about requirement gathering tools and techniques. We learned how you can use the basic principle of listen, lead, and negotiate to successfully gather the requirements. We discussed the importance of the conference room pilot and important considerations for planning and executing the CRP sessions. We also learned about other deliverables from the analysis phase such as Fit/Gap analysis and implementation strategy.

In the next chapter, we will learn about another key process in an implementation project—infrastructure planning and design.
