The tracking dimension is a lower-level assortment of products, irrespective of whether it is a serial number for electronic inventory items or a batch number. For tracking dimension groups, navigate to Product information management | Setup | Dimension and variant groups | Tracking dimension groups, as shown in the following screenshot:
