The suspending financial dimensions is used in cases where there is a dimension that needs to be stopped from an operation, as it will not be used any more. As shown in the following screenshot, there is a control to suspend a financial dimension from operational posting:
During the processing of a transaction, if an accountant selects a financial dimension that is suspended, a message bar will pop up stating that financial dimension ##### is closed, as shown in the following screenshot:
