Chapter 20. Creating Connected Templates and Pages

The basic idea behind connected templates and pages (or postings) is reducing duplication of content. A common problem in pre-content management systems is managing shared content. Some pages have exactly the same content but are different in design and layout. In many cases, this leads to content being manually copied from one page to the other in the hope that no major changes to the copied code will ever be required.
