Upsizing Queries

When you view the report created by the Upsizing Wizard, you will see that upsizing was either not possible or not even attempted for some queries. The report displays the SQL code that the wizard used when attempting to convert the query. Under the name specified, however, there is no view or stored procedure in the database. The following section describes typical problems that might occur during upsizing, along with explanations and tips for dealing with them.

The next section assumes that you have instructed the Upsizing Wizard to create an Access project. The problems and shortcomings described refer to both the SQL Server/MSDE database and the Access project.
