Restoring Data

To reimport a backup, use the following restore procedures. To restore databases, you need the same authorizations as for the backup.

Restoring Data in Access Projects

To reimport a backup, activate the relevant function by selecting Tools, then Database Utilities, then Restore SQL Database. Remember that the function only works with SQL Server/MSDE if it is installed on the same computer as Microsoft Access. When you are importing the data backup, no other users can work on the database.
