Chapter 4. Applying the Access Object Model

It helps to think of Microsoft Access as being an object that contains other objects and collections of objects. When you open a form in the application, each control on the form is an object that is contained in a controls collection for that form object. The open form is contained in the Forms collection of the Application object (until you close the form). The Forms and Reports collections are very important for programming Access and contain open forms or reports.
