Understanding Web Report Limitations
Web reports are more limited than client reports. In addition to being limited to designing web reports in Layout view only, here are several more important limitations you should be aware of concerning web reports that we have not mentioned in preceding discussions:
Web reports do not support embedded subforms or subreports.
No report or control events are supported in web reports. (You’ll learn all about events beginning in Part VI.)
You can use only text box, label, hyperlink, check box, and image controls in web reports.
Web reports do not support setting report background images.
Web reports do not support control padding.
