Installing the Office 64-Bit Version

The Office 2010 applications are also available in 64-bit versions. Before you run the Office system setup program, be sure that no other applications are running on your computer. Note that you can install the 64-bit versions of Office 2010 only on a computer running a 64-bit Windows operating system.

If you’re installing from the Office Professional Plus 2010 CD-ROM or DVD-ROM, insert the first disc. On most computers, the Office system setup program starts automatically.
