Abstract

The aim of this chapter is to provide some guidelines and design rules for the construction of a micromachining facility based on electrochemical discharges. The focus will be mainly on the specific characteristics of the spark-assisted chemical engraving (SACE) process, but some general practical aspects are also discussed.
